Hey all!!*waves*
Itz been a while since I've returned to S'pore from my trip to Thailand... feel utterly lazy and have no urge to write about it at all. I guess what happened in Thailand stays in Thailand... ... Photos on the other hand might fill in the thousands of blanks that those unwritten words might have revealed. Alas I do not have the entire collection of photos YET as everyone has melted into obscurity and hibernation after touch down.

Update 003

The intriguing pictures are up! Nothing new but interesting to the people within the photos. Have a look.

Birthday Pictures

I just realised something after putting up old pictures of birthdays... I DON'T HAVE ONE OF MY OWN BIRTHDAY!!!! although i still remember posing for one in front of Esprit Suntec. Can someone with that priceless photo send it to me pretty please?? Anyway found something really interesting about the photos I have. Will show it after I figure out how to put circles on photos!!!! Till then!

Tired, Confused yet happy

DID YOU SEE??? haha of coz you would have if you are reading this... YUP! The blog is blue not red... could not find anything red that was nice and appropriate=) Found this RED design but it was of a cartoon gal in a skimpy bikini (red no less!!). Liked it loads actually but hmmm... it doesn't shout ANNE!! to people out there... neither does this actually haha... but I like the pensive quality of this image.

No one has ever told me how bloody terrible it is to simply type a few letters here and there in order to create a blog without weird <$aksfajl$> appearing out of nowhere. Perhaps no one else thinks it is terrible... which makes it even MORE horrible that I feel this way! I mean it seems all so simple, find a blog skin you like (out of '000) and add whatever you want within that page, among gibberish that actually makes sense!! Its so simple, that I'm confident that I'll master Greek in the next century or so!

So now that it is finally done, I'M DELIRIOUS with joy... or simply delirious...I don't know. Mom has been nagging me since 12 to SLEEP... but I got so frustrated that I could not finish it easily I just kept on at it. Haha the stupidest thing I think I did was not switch on ICQ... WQ might b in HK but Lynn would have most prob been online and she's damn good with this sorta stuff...n I HAVE NOT PASSED HER MEAN GIRLS!!!! and DOT's after her!!!! oh no!!!! n I think YUn's after Dot... will not procrastinate any longer

So Lynn, if you are reading this please tell me when u are free B4 fri so I can pass it to u B4 I leave for Thailand...

THAILAND....................... HAHAHAHA can't wait!!!=)

Update 002

Its been ages since I've even felt the urge to write. So many things have happened since the last entry that I look back in amazement. Will try to remember them all for posterity sake...

1)1-day Batam trip with Liyi, Dot n Yun.
It was a real successful trip, unplanned but well timed. A BIG thanks goes out to Liyi's mom who invited us along for this trip and paid for our hotel room and breakfast!!!!!! For those not in the know, Liyi has one of the coolest mom.

Anyway, Yun made a friend(Chinchin) on her last trip to Batam and she brought us around for a good seafood lunch and an all-body massage at the low price of S$10. Had loads of fun thanks to her!!!! Chinchin and her boyfriend were a really really nice, gracious and accommodating hosts... so much so I felt like they were doing so much for us, showing us whatever we wanted, insisting on treating us to lunch, while we did nothing in return. SO we decided to treat them to DINNER! Had to tell them our intentions as they were the ones driving... and so they drove to a hawker centre... Food was good but it was so DIFFICULT trying to pay for everything there coz they knew the money much better than we did. I mean, what's with those bloody big nos when you can say 'one dollar' 'stead of '5000 rupiahs' ok they didn't say that coz they all spoke indonesian, which brings us to another difficulty we faced while trying to pay. WHICH NOTE DOES ONE ATTEMPT TO TAKE OUT if one does not know how much the food cost???

Liyi(who had the $$) ended up simply shoving notes without looking, to the people who brought the food.Tiring if you ask me. Went back to the hotel loaded with tidbits to last us till the Euro cup finals ended. Chinchin then asked us what time we would wake up the next day as she wanted to meet us in the morning which made me feel horrid coz i felt we were taking up a lot of her precious time (she works).

Made our way to the JACKPOT room after some time and played... and played... and played. In total, the four of us won abt s$100 that night. Felt GOOD!!!!!!

Watched Message in the Bottle which is a really lousy show that is anti climatic. Think it was made worst by a rather cynical joint commentation on cliches by Yun and me. WE should be scriptwriters, judging by corniness and cliche predictions we made at the beginning of the show that were correct or feasible.

Did not manage to watch the whole match later as I was simply too bored and tired. Liyi and Dot did, while I sprung upright to watch whenever they started exclaiming.

Bottomline, trip to batam was enjoyable though tiring as everyone of us slept on the ferry back to S'pore.

2)DOT IS GOING TO THAILAND WITH US!!!!
Isn't this fantastic??? heehee was rather worried after she msg me about Bird flu that her mom would not let her go at the last min but SHE IS GOING!!!! Her enthusiasm for shopping and buying accessories are extremely contagious (for me) that coupled with Liting's are going to make me buy much MORE than I usually do... heehee I can't wait!! Qiuyi's also very happy that Dot is going she likens it to a "mini tour"

THink this is like the closest we can get to getting everyone to go on a holiday together though we are thinking of going to Taiwan for our next hols!!!!! SO EVERYONE WHO READS THIS ... START SAVING NOW.

3)Alice is 20!!!!!!!
ALice is officially in limbo now!!! haha join the club gal!!! Britney's cliche song 'not a gal/not yet a woman' comes to mind *pushes that thought away!!!!* Unfortnuately, I could not make it to celebrate her birthday yesterday as it clashed with my sister's graduation=(( Hope you guys had a fantastic time!!!!!!

4)Sis has graduated
Am really happy for her!!!! haha and have concluded that there is no such thing as a handsome doctor... these two words are definitely NOT compatible.

5)Managed to use my beautiful 'SATC' bag for the VERY FIRST TIME
Its basically a small rectangular leather bag which has a picture imprinted on the leather. You know those bags with Audrey Hupburn on it??? Something like that cept MUCH MUCH nicer and in colour. The image is that of Timesquare with its yellow taxis and huge billboards. It's the SATC bag to me coz the billboard naturally has Jessica Sarah Parker on it!!!

6)I am one lousy driver

Amazing... Thailand

We are GOING TO THAILAND... alas without the dear company of Wanqing who is going to Hongkong to battle Tingting. I don't bloody believe it... really don't!!! Procrastination has frozen over and we are actually GOING TO THAILAND.

Have been working hard these few days with everyone who is going. Called up agencies with Yun, discussed places to go with Liting, kept Fongguan up to date with what everyone has discussed... and basically procrastinated on the actual booking of the tix till almost all were sold out. Had to pay a more in the end which basically frustrated all of us. But thanks to Fg(he booked the tix), we are actually going.

I don't believe I've felt this excited before. At least not for a real long time. Have typed out a preliminary itinerary for all to see tmr and am thoroughly excited at the thought of going out of Singapore WITHOUT MY PARENTS. Yep! It's my virgin attempt and I hope (most fervently) that it is a successful one with no serious mishaps.

Made a nuisance of myself today by calling Liting and Yun alternately to update them on the itinerary which I suspect would be totally different once we reach there and get the feel of the place. For me, I just love the idea of going to a new place (my last trip to Thailand was in P3) and simply soaking up the atmosphere. See how people behave and interect, how different or similar they are from us.

Real glad that I'll be triple sharing a room with Liting and Yun coz that simply means its triple the fun although Liting's standard of cleaniness has left me a little apprehensive as to how she would react to my 'not-so-clean' habits. What they are I don't yet, but i'm sure she would tell me in due time *wink*.

Qiuyi's not in S'pore now but am sure she is ABSOLUTELY updated about the situation by her 'Dar' (am I right with the term??). Think this trip is going to be fantastic for them not only because of the marvelous shopping we all hear about but because itz 5 solid days in each others' company as well as in OURS!!!
